Come to discover the most representative plant essences of the Mediterranean bush through a route in a pristine environment, submerged by the scents of the Livornesi hills.
After a beautiful walk with breathtaking views of the sea overlooked by the coast of Castiglioncello, you will enjoy a wine tasting experience at a local organic winery: its excellent wines have won international recognition. The itinerary begins at the Castiglioncello highway exit from Livorno. After parking, you will find a path that leads to the top of Monte Pelato. The route goes through Poggio al Tedesco and a water spring, with a scenic view from the plateau near the destination. The route back runs through a downhill “green trail”.
